Funding your USD wallet on CadRemit has just got even more flexible. Alongside ACH and wire transfers, you can now fund your wallet instantly using stablecoins: USDC & USDT. When you deposit USDC and USDT, the USD equivalent will be credited directly to your USD wallet.
How stablecoin funding works.
- USDC deposits: 1 USDC equals $1 USD. A deposit of 10 USDC will be credited as $10.
- USDT deposits: Credited at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of deposit.
- Processing time: Deposits appear instantly once blockchain confirmation is complete.
Important things to take note of.
- Minimum deposit is $5. If you deposit an amount below $5, you might lose money.
- We won’t charge deposit fees; however, network fees may apply when sending from your external wallet.
- There are no maximum limits; you can deposit as much as you like.
- There are no restrictions on where you can send your coins from. However, all stablecoin deposits will automatically convert to USD, and there’ll not be a separate stablecoin wallet.
- You’ll get a unique USDC/USDT deposit address to make deposits to your CadRemit wallet.
